Eric is a Co-founder of Steel River, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CraneTech, Inc. He is passionate about improving the experience of technicians and other employees within the industrial trades. He was previously a strategy & operations leader at Turbonomic, a Bain Capital Ventures portfolio company acquired by IBM for $2 billion. Prior to that, Eric was a management consultant at Accenture, where he helped drive over $20 million in efficiencies for clients through digital transformation, business process redesign, and shared services implementations. Eric holds a B.S. with a triple major in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises, Finance, and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University.

Austin is a Co-founder of Steel River and serves as Chief Financial Officer and Head of M&A at CraneTech. He is driven by his love for small business and connecting with people from all walks of life. His mission lies in creating culture that has unparalleled positive ripple effects in the communities where he works. Before co-founding Steel River, he was Director of Business Development at Alpine Investors, where he was responsible for sourcing and closing north of $200 million in enterprise value across various service industries. Prior to that, Austin was a consultant for Accenture focused on driving operational efficiencies and cost savings for Fortune 500 clients. Austin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Providence College with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.

Conor Hoolihan
Director of Corporate Development

Conor serves as Director of Corporate Development, responsible for finance operations and investment evaluation, due diligence, and integration. He brings a diverse range of finance, strategy, and M&A experience in both public and private markets across the globe. Driven by creativity and curiosity, Conor’s passion for industrial services started from a young age in Northern Minnesota where he was inspired by the positive impact of family business, and even more so, the values and standards that propel long-term, sustainable communities. Prior to Steel River, he served as Manager of Strategic Development at Newmont Corporation, where he was a key member in over $30 billion of executed M&A transactions, including the acquisition of Goldcorp and the formation of Nevada Gold Mines joint venture with Barrick. Previously, he held various roles of increasing responsibility in Finance, Projects, and Corporate Development at Newmont. Additionally, he co-led the strategy group for a Marvin Windows growth subsidiary where he was responsible for new market entry, data modeling, and customer acquisition cost optimization. Conor holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Denver with a degree in Finance.
